My name is Hayley, and I am a copyeditor, proofreader, developmental editor, and beta reader. As a fellow writer, I am familiar with how daunting the prospect of editing can be, and I promise to look at your writing through the lens of a writer, not just an editor, to maintain the integrity of your work.

I have a passion for working with marginalized writers and helping them hone their craft. As a member of the queer and Deaf communities, I understand the barriers that marginalization can create. I offer a small discount to any writer who is a person of color, queer, or disabled.

My favorite genres to work with include fantasy, horror, and romance. If you have a book with all three spun together, I would be thrilled to work with you!

I grew up in the sweltering heat of North Carolina, and I now live in the frigid cold of Minnesota. When I’m not editing and beta reading, I’m working on my own novels or procrastinating by playing video games, reading (because I can’t get enough of it), or baking an insane number of cookies.
