My name is Maru. I am a Children’s Book Illustrator from the Philippines.

I've loved creating art ever since I was a kid, and it makes me happy to recreate how I see the world through art. I love telling stories about the places I’ve been or the experiences I've had through creating illustrations.

When I am not drawing, I love spending time with my family, playing with my son, planting vegetables, and lifting weights.
